Ventanas al Paraíso – A Ty Warner Property – has a defined traditional and exquisite DNA, which has be part in every single detail within the complex. Frederic Vidal, an experienced hotelier and Managing Director of Las Ventanas has achieved to include in the most tasteful possible way this “DNA” to improve the experience of its loyal and cosmopolitan clientele. Under this tenets the new “dinning experience” of the signature restaurant was designed by COFER STUDIO and correctly executed by Mexican artisans in order to created traditional hand and soul crafted masterpieces.
“We wanted the table to show how rich and fatuous is the Mexican cuisine is. Full of colors and flavors, vibrant in tradition and abundant history,” says Luis Ruiz, Creative director of COFER Studio; “fine dinning more than ever has to be enjoyable, not overwhelming nor snobbish, and over all, a remarkable experience. It must tell our collective history from the first plate to the last.”
On the top of the white-on-white tablecloths the colorful table runners were created under the principles of the traditional sewing Mayan artifacts however the colors and patters involved were designed under new and contemporary techniques from Chiapas. In just this single handcrafted piece, COFER studio aims for a concept that unifies present and past.
Two sets of china-ware were designed for two different materials, both executed under the direction of COFER Studio in techniques mastered by the two most recognized Mexican artisans; Jose Noe Suro and Vicente Hernandez.
